RDC® R3600 Win7 Dual-Core Processor Enhances Embedded Application Performance and Flexibility
RDC® Emkore™ DE and Emkore™ DS are RDC®'s new processor platform series. The Emkore™ series, manufactured using 40nm process, features the latest generation low-power dual-core processor R3600, supports DDR3 memory and integrates 2D graphics processor, along with integrated peripheral chips RDC® C6038. At the perfect balance point between power consumption and performance, the RDC® R3600 offers the low power consumption of a single-core processor while delivering the superior performance of a dual-core processor. The RDC® Emkore™ DE/Emkore™ DS processor platforms are suitable for various embedded applications requiring slim form factors and fanless device designs. Additionally, the dual-screen display function is particularly suitable for commercial application service hardware platforms, such as digital signage, ATMs, smart vending machines, human-machine interface (HMI), thin client, and POS. Operating system support includes Microsoft operating systems and the DOS family.
